Walking upstream well past Potter's Falls you come to a place in the trail just a few feet above the stream where you can easily walk right down to the water. Looking downstream you see the water entering a narrow section of the gorge that eventually spills out over Pottter's Falls. Looking upstream you see a small inner falls, actually a dam.
