Buttermilk Falls and Gorge

The photos for Buttermilk Falls and Gorge are more or less arbitrarily divided into five sections for ease of view. They're arranged in sequence as you move upstream:
  1. Buttermilk Falls itself, which has roughly two sections: an upper and lower falls.
  2. "Lower Gorge" – a deep, narrow gorge that begins at the top of the Falls.
  3. "Middle Gorge" – a section that begins at the end of the "First Gorge" and extends to just below the footbridge.
  4. "Upper Gorge – starts at the footbridge and extends to where the gorge opens up and pretty much disappears.
  5. "Open Sunlight" – the open, sunny part that extends to the car bridge.
All of these sections are within the Lower Gorge of Lower Park. There's an Upper Park that begins on the other side of the car bridge mentioned above and extends to Treman Lake, but there's little in the way of falls or gorges in the Upper Park and nothing of it is included here.
