| Down in the rocks below, with the river running reasonably high, you suddenly come upon these lesser cascades emanating from a large pipe not visible from anywhere else. This pipe, apparently some sort of inlet overflow for two truly huge pipes coming down from above to run the power plant along the river's edge, spews out water under enormous pressure. When the river is low, there's not enough water to require an overflow pipe so the lesser cascades are gone. |
