By the parking lot at the lower end of Watkins Glen Gorge are Icicles like this one. Water seeping from the walls of the gorge freeze.
The photo above was taken in late February of 2004 and was probably the very first photo I took of any gorge or waterfalls in NY. It was taken with a film camera and then scanned.
Then rest of the photos on this page were taken in the winter of 2004-2005 with a digital camera.
